Rental Requirements: Renter (Customer) must possess a valid driver’s license and be at least 25 years of age. Any/all additional drivers must also present a valid driver’s license and be at least 25 years of age. Photo copies of all drivers licenses is required prior to or at check-out. Proof of insurance must be provided on all authorized drivers.
Reservation Deposit: A $1,000.00 Deposit is required to confirm a reservation. The balance of the Rental is due 2 weeks prior to pick up unless it is within the 2 week pick up date and if so the balance is due in full. Deposit is refundable within 21 days after return if the RV comes back clean, (inside and out) full of fuel and LP and the holding tanks empty and no damages.
Rental Fees: All rental fees must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to check-out. Florida RV Rentals will send reminder a few days prior to the balance due for your RV Rental. Please contact us if you wish to use a method of payment other than the Credit Card on file or the total will be charged to that card on the due date.
Taxes: Customer is responsible for all applicable taxes
Insurance: You may be covered under your personal Insurance policy and if so you will need to supply us with a certificate of Insurance stating the vehicle is covered or you may purchase Insurance through MBA Choice. All drivers must be listed on the Rental Contract and we must have a valid copy of their Drivers License prior to departure of the RV. All Drivers must supply Certificate of Insurance if you do not purchase MBA choice.
- Damage to the Vehicle is covered by MBA Choice, with a deductible per occurrence for which amount you are responsible. (The $1,000.00 deposit serves as the deductable unless there are other charges incurred)
- Auto liability insurance is part of MBA Choice, and provides coverage for bodily injury and property damage caused by you to third persons with limits no higher than the minimum levels prescribed by the financial responsibility laws of the State whose laws apply to the damage or loss. MBA Choice covers medical payments, or PIP, no-fault and statutory limits for uninsured and under-insured motorist coverage. Coverage is void if you violate the terms of this Agreement or if you fail to cooperate in any loss investigation conducted by us, or the insurer. Allowing an unauthorized driver to operate the Vehicle terminates MBA Choice.
- You are responsible for all damages to the Vehicle and damage or injury you cause to third parties that is excluded by the MBA Choice policy, or that is in excess of MBA Choice policy limits.
- IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT: No matter how big or how small you must fill out an accident report and notify Florida RV Rentals. There are accident forms supplied in the RVs. Make sure you get all necessary information on anyone involved in the accident and their Drivers License and Insurance Information. If not you may be held liable for any and all damages. You must bring in the accident report supplied by law officials along with the report supplied in the RV and filled out by you.
RV Condition at Time of Pickup: Gas tank is full, LP tank is full, Fresh Water tank is full, wastewater holding tanks are empty, and the interior and exterior are clean. RVs have had all regular maintenance performed.
RV Return Policy: Rental units must be returned as scheduled. Unauthorized extensions will be charged at twice the unit’s equivalent daily rate for each day it is late unless it has been authorized by the company at least 2 days in advance. Rental days are based on number of nights out. Check-in is between 10:AM and 12:Noon. If the RV is returned after 12:Noon you will be charged an additional $25. for each hour past after 5:PM you will be charged for an additional day. The rental must be returned in the same conditions listed at time of pickup, (gas tank full, LP tank full, holding tanks empty, clean interior and exterior, free of damages. Any accrued fees will be assessed and charged against the damage deposit or if the charges are in excess of the deposit it will be charged to the credit card on file as follows:
Damages to the RV will be assessed according to their severity.
Cleaning Charges: Interior $125.00 / Exterior $125.00
Dump and Rinse Holding Tanks: $75.00
Pet Odors: $250.00
Smoke Odors: Forfeit of $1,000.00 deposit
LP Refill: $50.00 refueling fee plus Cost of LP
Fuel Refill: $50.00 refueling fee plus cost of fuel
VIP Convenience Package: $300.00. Customers wishing to do so can allocate this option during the reservation process. The cost of the package is as listed above ($300.00). This feature covers holding tank dump and rinse, interior and exterior cleaning, and propane fill. Customer is still responsible for fuel tanks fill and any/all damages incurred. Those not wishing to purchase the convenience package will be responsible for returning the unit as listed in the RV Return Policy and for fees assessed accordingly.
REFUNDS for Early Return: There is never a refund for unused days but there is for unused mileage.
Mileage Charges: Excess mileage over the stated allowance will be deducted from the damage deposit. The stated mileage is .15 cents per mile. (Prices subject to change without notice.)
Generator Charges: Customer is given 2 free generator hours allowance per day. Excess usage will be calculated and deducted from the damage deposit upon return at the rate of $3.00 per each additional excess hour.
ALL APPLICABLE CHARGES WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE DAMAGE DEPOSIT.
Smoking: No smoking is allowed in rental units. Any smoke odors in returned rental units will result in additional fees. Please refer to RV Return Policy for applicable fees.
Pets: No pets are allowed in rental units. Any pet odors in returned rental units will result in additional fees. Please refer to RV Rental Policy for applicable fees.
Awning Use: All RVs are equipped with awnings. Awning use is permitted but with the understanding Awnings are not covered under your Insurance and damages are the sole responsibility of the Renter. During the initial demonstration you will be shown how the awning works and with the understanding that any damages to the awning you will be responsible for. Just a light wind can cause the awning to fold over the RV. Never leave the awning out when leaving the RV or while you sleep.
Towing: No towing is allowed on Florida RV Rentals rental units. If you will need to tow, you will need to inquire for additional rates.
Travel Restrictions: Rental units may not be driven to Mexico or Death Valley. Any down time or damage due to extreme weather will not be covered by Florida RV Rentals or the Insurance Company.
Florida RV Rentals reserves the right to substitute another unit if at time of departure the unit reserved is unavailable.
Renter must be present at check-out and complete a brief orientation on the RV. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Maintenance: All RVs are maintained prior to departure. Once in the possession of Renter the RV is to be maintained according to directions. All fluid levels should be checked as directed by Technician at the time of check-out. If on extended mileage trip it is the responsibility of the Renter to have the Oil changed and the Generator serviced. We do require you bring in receipts to show these things were completed. These expenses are the sole responsibility of the renter as part of the normal cost of operation of the RV you have rented.
Breakdowns: In the unlikely event of a break down, repairs under $100 should be completed and paid for by the renter. Repairs over $100 must have prior authorization from Florida RV Rentals. Please save and submit all receipts for repairs when you return the rental unit. All Tires or parts unless the Renter accepts responsibility for damage and charges, must be returned to Florida RV Rentals for inspection. Florida RV Rentals will assume no responsibility for Generator problems and there will be no refunds for generator malfunctions. Please note generators run on the main fuel tank and once the fuel level reaches ¼ tank the generator will shut down automatically. Florida RV Rentals will assume no responsibility for vapor lock of engines, or any tire/wheel/hub cap damage or loss due to hitting curbs or pot holes or hitting debris in the road. In the event the RV is in breakdown repair for 12 hours or more, our responsibility to the Renter is limited to the refund of the daily Rental or portion thereof. Items that are not considered a breakdown and do not constitute refund are: Furnace, Air-conditioner, oven/stove, microwave, radio, tv/vcr/dvd, generator, cruise control, coach water pump and refrigerator. Please call if you have a problem with any of these items as a lot of these problems may be solved over the phone.
General Requirements: Customer agrees not to drive in a careless or negligent manner, nor drive while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, nor permit operation of the vehicle by any person except those signed to the agreement. Customer further agrees not to use, or permit use of the rental for unlawful purposes. Customer will hold Leaser harmless from any and all fines, forfeitures and penalties incurred during the rental period caused directly or indirectly by negligence, misuse or carelessness. Customer further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Leaser from and against any and all claims for loss of, or damage to property, or injury to persons, including death, resulting from the use, operation or possession of the rented unit. Unless prohibited by law, you release us from any liability for consequential, special or punitive damages in connection with this rental or the reservation of a vehicle.
Customer understands that the number of passengers who may lawfully travel in a motor home is limited to the number of seat belted seats in the motor home. Customer agrees to abide by that limit.
Florida RV Rentals Cannot be held responsible for additional days of Rental incurred due to acts of nature, weather conditions, road closures or any conditions beyond Florida RV Rentals control.
Florida RV Rentals work to supply you with an RV that has been cleaned, maintained and ready for you to enjoy your travel plans. We take pride that we have had very few problems during the Rentals of our passengers and we strive to keep it that way. Just remember when you are on the road the RV you have in your possession is as if it is yours and when it is returned it is the next Renters vacation so enjoy and take care of the RV as if it was your own. This will make for a pleasant check in.
